This solid clear plastic is just what I needed. My in ground in door pool had a problem with moisture building up on windows and humidity that was over 90%. The conventional solar covers with the bubbles worked but as they grow old the bubbles pop and you start seeing blue plastic dots all over the place and clogging up the pool filter. This clear plastic no bubble works very well I just wish it was 12 inches wider and a little thicker. Also unlike the solar covers it has no sections patched together it’s a solid plastic sheet. So less chance of falling apart over time. Salt water eats the solar joints and causes the plastic to get brittle and when you crank the cover off and on the bubbles and the cover start to disintegrate over time. So far the plastic touching the salt water has just started to yellow slightly . It definitely works better than a blue tarp. They work for about 3 months, to thin and the salt get to eating away at the material and it starts to seep through and you start having the humidity problem again. So far this has worked the best! so far! I love the no seams that makes me think it will last longer. It just needs to be 6-12 inches wider. 32’by 16.5’ or 17’ would be fantastic for this pool. 32’ by 16’ is hard to crank into place after using the pool. But works great once you get it flat on both sides . The solar cover read 32’ by 16’ but they are always bigger 33’ by 17’ or just under.. When you close up the pool it’s to easy to get water on top of the clear plastic and that don’t stop the humidity.UPDATE: 12/12/2024. This greenhouse plastic is still working great as an indoor swimming pool cover. Also has an advantage when using a solar powered pool diagnostic unit. The clear plastic allows light to help keep the unit charged longer.
